Where is a Commuter Friendly Neighborhood in Alexandria VA?

Bucknell Manor neighborhoods are a close to the metro but outside the city. Nearby shopping centers include Belle View and Beacon Mall. Bucknell has the advantages of a quiet residential neighborhood. Bucknell is close to Huntington metro. Bucknell schools include Bucknell Elementary, Carl Sandburg Middle School, and West Potomac High School.

Bucknell is located off Fort Hunt Rd, near Rt. 1, and parallel to GW Parkway. Bucknell homes were built in the 1940′s and 1950′s. Many of the homes have expanded. Bucknell is a community of Cape Cod style duplexes just outside of Old Town Alexandria.
